Prop 8 --- A project.
So I wanted to update everyone on how things were going mostly concerning my life and I have to say that i've finished a project.
There have been some things about 2008 that impacted us ALL more than others and I believe Proposition 8 was one of those things. Very quickly i've witnessed a great deal of people already falling prey to the lack of unity that that gave to the community of those who understand... the community of people I took time out to reassure.
I'm still here, no matter how harsh I sound, it's still the same old me, and to prove it, i'm introducing something to make you all remember.
A series of drawings.
Each one representing me and my wife, and the drawings WILL CONTINUE until we are married.
This is just going to be a standard feature, and no matter how counter-productive this will feel to me at times, reminding me of what I have been robbed of, I won't stop making this until the fact comes around that I am.
What exactly are these pictures? They are tributes to the characters we are cosplaying as pairings. So far me and my wife have yet to Cosplay a great deal, however, I have completed the first set, and am now giving you a piece of my will to fight and remind us all what we have lost and are steadily going to regain.
If anyone would like to contribute, then of course I invite you to plaster it all over DA, sort of as support, more as a way to keep spreading the word about what is going on, and to remind people that there are those out there who won't forget.
I give to you a the show of a ... well just a continuous battle that has been faught by many before us and will continue to be faught by myself.
I don't think I can find any BETTER way to say this, words are a fallicy for me, I find myself day by day discovering new ways to phrase more delicately a situation, and for me, there is no more of a delicate way to say this then, or so I hope, will be in the future.
As for everyone else out there, I remind you all of your love, and that it should never be viewed as invalid.

I'm not very good at drawing (least, in my opinion) so I'll have to spread the message some other way. But I'll keep fighting too. I don't want to let it win and I won't. I'm miles away but I'm still here and I'll do all I can. Promise ^_^ I definitely won't forget.

You guys are popular. Make prints of all these drawings and sell them. Then turn around, take the money you make from them, and donate 100% of it directly to The Human Rights Campaign, a group working to overturn Prop 8. Put a link in your journal too, ask your fans to throw a few dollars in their direction if they can afford it.
Just a suggestion! You certainly don't have to follow it, I know it can sometimes be a pain to have prints made, but we thought it might be useful.
