:bulletgreen:Tiger and Bunny - Black Tiger:bulletgreen:

:bulletgreen: Photoshoot: My roommate asked us all to jump, what came out was a series of photos in which at least one person almost every time looked derp. The suggestion was worth a thousand suggestions. I thought it was a fun experience. Seeing this picture brings back good memories, I'm glad I'm putting it up on this gallery!

:bulletgreen: Costumes: I created both the Black Tiger outfit, and the Kotetsu regular outfit that *alcblueyes is wearing. everyone else created their respective outfits, sans our Bunny, who purchased the jacket, but styled the wig, made the glasses, the belt, and the pants from scratch as well as the boots. She just didn't like the pattern for the jacket. I can tell you one thing, that Kotetsu hat was hilarious to make. I was listening to Drunk Kitchen at one point while making it, and I ended up laughing and drooling on my sewing machine on accident. -Face palms-

Okay, I'm going to try this.

There really isn't anything that just totally repulses me. Tiger and Bunny's (center) feet look a touch blurry and there's a girl photo bombing. But, I know how a photoshoot works in that you can't always guarantee that the best photo in the bunch won't have a person or two chilling out on the sidelines when you're on public property. On top of this, I'm no photoshop buff so I have no idea how one would go about fixing/editing either of those things, and am, thus, not entitled to even point it out. In the back ground, it looks like there are pieces of trash/litter that kind of takes away from the sleekness the picture as a whole gives. (Can you tell I'm literally squinting just to find something that's there to critique?) The rest of the background-- the glass windows, the tall, imposing but modern buildings, as well as the clear sky-- are perfect. Because there is no color theme within your outfits, and it features a wide variety of tones, in both skin and clothing, the neutral/cool colors in the back make each of you vivid in an equal way so that no one person is a focus. The mid-jump poses are similar enough that they give good symmetry and balance (even despite Tiger's legs not being as far off the ground) but unique for each individual-- I'm not looking at the same face or the same execution for four different characters.

The picture, in its entirety, is very fun. I get, like, all excited just looking at it. As a young child, with both my brother and sister, our favorite thing to do was getting jump shots in our dress up stuff, so this picture also kindles some nostalgic and fluffy memories that leave a very sweet taste in my mouth. I'm not especially familiar with the characters, but I don't feel left out of the T/B (not Tuberculosis) fandom at all. Again and again, you guys remind me why I love your group so.

(Okay, I'm finished. Also, I promise the fact that you're getting all five stars from me isn't based off of my biased opinion. Honest.)

:wow: Being in sync for a jump is usually hard to capture with more than 2 people but you all got it in sync, YAY SUGGESTIONS! ^o^ Awesome job!
I haven't watched, 'Tiger and Bunny' yet unfortunately.. ^^; I enjoy 'action' photography though in and out of cosplay X3 It's always so interesting.

Black Tiger should have just stood on the ground. Or made hearts all over the place. Either or make sense apparently xD <3

It is difficult to do this kind of pose, I think we jumped nearly sixteen times. I loved the end result though.

If you go to Hulu you can watch it! Here- [link] It's totally worth the watch- it hooked me in five minutes!!

*reading description* you made the tiger hats? that's pretty awesome! i can't even tell. how'd you do it?

No! I mean yes, I mean, I only made the WHITE tiger hat.

It was pretty bad, I took pieces of cloth, and kind of tried to get a general shape by cutting them out and sewing them together many many times, once I felt like I had the right shape, I undid what I had created by seam-ripping the shapes.

I then took the pleather white and black material, used the cloth mock-up as a pattern guide, and cut it out again. I sewed them together, but sewed them improperly somehow. Took them apart, cried... watched Drunk Kitchen until I felt better, then went back to work.

I finished the hat at about five in the morning, then put the wig and hat on my head, and broke down again because the hat was just a smidge too small. UN-DID -EVERYTHING- I had done, and give it a tiny bit more room, and then put it back on AND VIOLA!

I've never seen another Kotetsu who had actually made their hat, I don't wonder why.

*pats head* it's okay. it's looks great. your hard work paid off, and now you can say you've made a non fleece hat from scratch! i doubt many people can say the same. ^^
