"Go HOME!"
It wasn't the first time, and somehow, there was a surprisingly high amount of consideration granted to the fact that....it probably wouldn't be the last. Naruto was being told to leave, again. Naruto was being tested, again, and not an ounce of him was going to fail this... again. No. The word wouldn't leave his lips, but it was there... No. The stillness and the troubled eyes spoke it loud and clear... No. The hands that pressed to the clothing that was worn... and barely bothered to clench begged to be heard. You're my friend. The teeth gritting and the words catching. I won't leave. The chest tightens and the hands raise up..... I love you. The kiss.... for the second time, the kiss that had been so lost in a haze of nearly forgotten memory. How many things could be said in body language, that pride would not allow that barrier to fall... And as Naruto simply laid there... and took in it all. Surprise on his face, that Sasuke could try to make him leave again... That he could convince a man to let him stay.... Just by lying so still. |
